Strategic Cereal Farm North open day: Research into action

Through a farm walk and presentations, you will learn about the on-farm trials at Strategic Cereal Farm North and be able to ask questions of the host farmer (David Blacker) and research scientists.

This event will cover

• Nitrogen use efficiency and disease management with Kate Smith (ADAS) and Clive Blacker (Agrivation)
• Earthworms, living mulches and soil organic matter with Laura James (AHDB) and Henny Lowth (AHDB)
• Field drainage with Anne Bhogal (ADAS) and David Blacker (host farmer)

Visit our new exhibitor area to learn about new technologies, research projects and more.

We will be joined on the day by:

This meeting is free to attend, but please book a place so we can organise catering. 

BASIS and NRoSO points will be available for attending.  

Please bring suitable footwear and clothing for a field walk.
