Please join Ben Jeans, Salisbury Monitor Farmer along with our guest speaker looking at how farmers can work together and source funding to farm environmentally and profitably whilst replacing BPS.

Rob Shepherd will share how he is putting this into practice. 

What will this meeting cover?

  • Allenford Farms, Damerham - an introduction
  • What is natural capital, and how can we measure it? 
  • What and who is the Environmental Farmers Group (EFG)?  What is the point of it, and how can it open up new income streams for farmers 
  • Who are the funders for these projects?  Analysing those who are funding these trades 
  • How EFG can co-ordinate farm, local and regional scale environmental projects 
  • Update on ELMS, and how EFG can help farmers maximise ELMS options and income, alongside stewardship cluster groups  

The meeting will conclude with a light lunch 

BASIS and NRoSO points will be available for attending.
