Penrith Monitor Farm: The Sustainable Farming Incentive and what it can offer you

Join us for a Penrith Monitor Farm meeting with host farmer Henry Scholefield, where we will be discussing the Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI).

This meeting will cover

Agronomist Steven Gate, our guest speaker for the session, will give a presentation on the SFI. He will look at some of the best options for farms in the area and what actions can be taken to minimise the squeeze on farm incomes through the reduction in Direct Payments.

He will also look at the options available to use less productive areas on farm as part of the SFI to potentially increase their productivity in the long term.

Registration and refreshments will be available from 10:30am, with presentations commencing at 11:00am. Lunch will be provided.

BASIS and NRoSO points will be available for attending.
