Penrith Monitor Farm Meeting - Preparing for zero carbon farming

You are invited to join us for the first Penrith Monitor Farm Meeting of the season.

We look forward to welcoming you to catch up with the results of harvest 2022 and the 22/23 season so far, as well as discussing how farms can prepare for zero carbon farming. We will look at how carbon calculation can assist arable farmers in managing their zero carbon targets with Ryan Douglas (ADAS).

What will this meeting cover?

• Carbon terminology and myth busting 
• What was involved in the Monitor Farm carbon audit 
• Analysis of Penrith Monitor Farm carbon figures 
• Understanding how carbon audits can help farm businesses to make strategic decisions 
• Making a realistic management plan to reduce carbon on arable farms 

Registration and refreshments will be available from 10:30 with presentations commencing at 10:50 and lunch will be provided.

BASIS and NRoSO points will be available for attending.
