Newbury Monitor Farm: Saving costs with a Lean review and SFI update for spring 2024

Join us for the next Newbury Monitor Farm meeting.

We look forward to welcoming you to catch up on what has been happening at the Monitor Farm since we last met. David Crowfoot of Fedden USP will join us to discuss Lean reviews and their cost savings.

We will also be talking about SFI updates with Greg Crawford from NIAB.

This meeting will cover

• Monitor Farm updates – Rob Waterston will give an update on the Monitor Farm results from Harvest 2023 and an overview of drilling completed for 2024
• Lean review – David Crowfoot will outline the process and results of the Monitor Farm Lean review and quantify the benefits and savings for the farm business
• SFI update – Greg Crawford will be discussing SFI options for the spring

Registration and refreshments will be available from 10:00am, with presentations commencing at 10:30am, and lunch will be provided.

BASIS and NRoSO points will be available for attending.

Please bring suitable footwear and clothing for a field walk.
