Newbury Monitor Farm Meeting - Harvest wrap-up and the future of water security

You are invited to join us for the first Newbury Monitor Farm Meeting of the season.

We look forward to welcoming you to catch up with Rob Waterston about harvest 2022, the 2022/23 season so far, as well as looking at the challenges that face us in terms of water security with Kelly Hewson-Fisher.

What will this meeting cover?

• We will discuss the impacts of this year’s drought on harvested crops and those to be drilled for harvest 2023.
• Furthermore, we will look ahead to future growing seasons and consider how to build resilience of our soils, rotations and rainwater collection facilities.
• The prospect of policies and guidance relating to water security in a changing climate will also be explored.  

Registration and refreshments will be available from 10am with presentations commencing at 10.20 and lunch will be provided.

BASIS and NRoSO points will be available for attending.
