Newbury Monitor Farm Meeting - Cover crops - from root to tip

You are invited to join us for the third Newbury Monitor Farm Meeting of the season.

With the help of Ben Harrington, Edaphos agronomist, we will take an in depth look at Monitor Farmer, Rob Waterston’s cover crops. Rob has had some cover crop dry matter samples and soil analysis taken and the results of these analyses will be discussed, along with all things cover cropping.  

What will this meeting cover?

• Rotation planning and role of cover crops
• Mixes
• Cultivations
• Establishment
• Grazing
• Destruction
• Nutrient values
• Soil health e.g. fungal and bacterial ratios of Rob’s soil
• Costings

Registration and refreshments will be available from 10am with presentations commencing at 10.20 and lunch will be provided.

BASIS and NRoSO points will be available for attending.

The event is free to attend, but please register to allow us to cater accordingly.
