Join us for the next Limavady Monitor Farm Meeting, where we will catch-up on what has been happening at the farm since we last met.

We will also be joined by soils and cultivation specialist, Philip Wright, to discuss the soils at the monitor farm and what interventions, if any, might be needed.

  • Effects of current management approaches on soils
  • Soil compaction
  • Compaction and yield
  • Waterlogging
  • Trafficking and tyre pressures
  • Tine vs. disc drills
  • Using cover crops to improve soils
  • Dealing with residues

Registration and refreshments will be available from 10:30am, with presentations commencing at 10:45am. Lunch will be provided.

BASIS and NRoSO points will be available.

The event is free to attend, but please register to allow us to cater accordingly.

The day will begin at Carse Hall Farm, as noted above, before moving to The Drummond Hotel, 2 Main Street, Ballykelly, Limavady, BT49 9HP.
