Limavady Monitor Farm: Companion cropping

Join us for the next Limavady Monitor Farm Meeting, where we will catch-up on what has been happening at the farm since we last met.

We will also be joined by award-winning farmer, Gareth Culligan, to discuss how cover crops, companion crops and intercropping can improve soil health.

Gareth, who farms in County Louth, is a founding member of BASE Ireland and was the 2023 winner of the Soil Farmer of the Year Award.

This meeting will cover

• Machinery requirements
• What you need to consider and how to avoid pitfalls
• Reducing cultivations

Registration and refreshments will be available from 10:30am with presentations commencing at 10:45am. Lunch will be provided.

BASIS and NRoSO points will be available.
