Event highlights

  • Jim will be sharing the wealth of knowledge he has accumulated through decades of practical experience and study. He will discuss the success he has experienced in regenerating the land on his ranches, increasing profitability in his herds, and the positive results he has seen when assisting other farmers and ranchers
  • Farm walk with Nick Adams, our host farmer. Nick has been mob grazing for a few years and is open to ways of balancing the increased grazing intensity with other roles on the farm
  • Matt Jordon from Regenerate Outcomes will be talking about how farmers can be rewarded for building more soil carbon and ways it can be tracked

About Jim Elizondo

Jim is an agronomist engineer with financial knowlege specialising in beef and dairy cattle.

After buying his first irrigated farm in 1990, Jim found the methods he had been taught and those in books appeared outdated and unprofitable, thus starting a lifetime of learning.

Since summarising his knowledge into the Four Pillars of Real Wealth Ranching: Genetics, Grazing, Nutrition and Breeding, Jim has taught and consulted in a variety of countries and climates, sharing his findings with rancher and farmers so they too may benefit from his research.
