Huggate Monitor Farm meeting: Rules and regulations - How to balance for the future

10.20 Iain Mcdonell, EA - The place to start is with local water quality data; what is the picture in our region, Is nitrate and/or phosphate an issue in the catchment?
10.30 James Holmes and Georgina Key, AHDB Scientists, will discuss how to optimise the use of nutrients. They will run through a series of simple steps you can take, beginning with assessment of soil health, to ensure nitrogen is used efficiently, you remain profitable and impact on the environment is minimised.
