Please join Gary Shipley at Huggate Wold Farm for the first meeting of the winter season, to discuss their growing interest in biostimulants and how they can be fully encompassed on farm going forwards; will it be part of the tool box achieve a more sustainable way of farming.

On the agenda:  

Dr Kate Storer is a crop physiologist based in ADAS High Mowthorpe with an interest in crop nutrition, plant-soil interactions and integrated pest management. 

Angus Gowthorpe farms 400 acres in the Vale of York with a diverse mix of arable crops and permanent and temporary grassland for his suckler herd, working on a variety of soil types from blow away sand to heavy clay. He was runner up Soil Farmer of the Year 2018 and the Yorkshire Post Rural Awards Farm of the Year 2021 and is a founder member of The Green Farm Collective.
