Cheltenham Monitor Farm: Measuring, planning, and applying N across a rotation

Join us for the second Cheltenham Monitor Farm meeting of Winter 2023/24. 

We look forward to welcoming you to catch up on what has been happening at the Monitor Farm since we last met.

This meeting will cover

• General winter farm update and (initial) spring plans: Andrew Walters and Kathryn Styan (Agrii), the host MF agronomist 
• Lab options, practices and results interpretation – Soils: Jonathan Telfer of Lancrop Laboratories will discuss soil testing options, methodologies, pros and cons, and the processes behind these 
• Practical use of lab data: Dr Joe Martlew (AHDB) will outline how to effectively utilise these lab results in real-world ‘field’ scenarios – rules of thumb, specifics, trials and everything in-between

Registration and refreshments will be available from 10:30am, with presentations commencing at 11:00am, and a light lunch will provided at 1:00pm. 

BASIS and NRoSO points will be available for attending.
