Cambridge Monitor Farm – Nutrition and Reducing Nitrogen Fertiliser Use
You are invited to join us for the next Cambridge Monitor Farm Meeting!
Matt Redman, our host, will be joined by Tom Martin (Cambridgeshire farmer also known as ‘Farmer Tom’) and Mark Topliff (Lead Analyst – Farm Economics, AHDB) to explore biological approaches to nutrition, ways to reduce nitrogen fertiliser use and the impact of rising input costs vs prices.
What will this meeting cover?
- Nutrition – managing plant health to combat disease and exploring biological approaches
- Reducing nitrogen fertiliser use by half – is it practical and is it for you? Tom Martin (aka ‘Farmer Tom’) shares his experiences.
- Impact of rising input costs vs prices – a look at Farmbench data: past, present and future. What can we do about net margins for harvest 23?
Registration, breakfast, and refreshments will be available from 8:45 with presentations commencing at 9:15. The event is free to attend, but please register to allow us to cater accordingly and advise us of any special dietary requirements.
