Beverley Monitor Farm: Summer farm walk
This summer, Beverley Monitor Farm will be hosting a joint farm walk with the Voluntary Initiative (VI), where we will discuss some topical issues around water, future land use changes and improving nitrogen use efficiency.
The VI is an industry-led programme that produces schemes, tools, and messages that promote the responsible use of plant protection products through an IPM-based approach to sustainable agriculture.
This meeting will cover

- Water quality with Phil Jarvis (Voluntary Initiative Chair & Albanwise): How can we work collaboratively to protect one of our most important assets?
- Discussion around future land use and cropping changes at the Beverley Monitor Farm with Will Jones (Yorkshire Farms Manager, Albanwise)
- Management of environmental stewardship with Ian Gould (Oakbank): planning, opportunities and watchpoints
Registration and refreshments will be available from 10:00am, with presentations commencing at 10:30am. Lunch will be provided.
