AHDB strategy town hall discussion – pork sector

Join us for an open discussion on the AHDB Pork Strategy and how it can support the pig sector in England.

 This 'town hall' event will give you the chance to hear about, and have your say on our new five-year strategy.  There will be opportunities to ask questions of Mike Sheldon (AHDB Pork Board Chairman) and Angela Christison (Pork Sector Strategy Director)

 The challenges ahead for our industry include:

• How can we sell every part of the pig for the best return at home or overseas?
• How do we continue to protect the reputation of pork and promote its benefits to consumers?
• How do we continue to improve animal health and welfare, and reduce our impact on the environment?
• How can we improve production efficiency in a way that supports the reputation of British Pork, while remaining competitive at home and overseas?
