ADAS and AHDB Open day featuring Arable Connections


Join us for the ADAS and AHDB Open Day featuring Arable Connections on Tuesday 18 June.

The day will feature trials relevant to the West and Wales region. 

Demonstrations will include:

  • Full wheat Recommended List varieties
  • Weed management in the West
  • Fungicide performance including septoria and yellow rust
  • Managing BYDV
  • Barley management
  • Oats nutrition
  • Optimum nitrogen usage in wheat
  • Moisture Meter Clinic

The seminar programme includes:

  • Laura Davies, ADAS: A practical approach to grass weed management: a focus on bromes
  • Eoin Murphy, ADAS: The considerations to make when designing a infrastructure for a modern arable unit
  • Jenna Watts, AHDB: Choosing a variety suited for the West
