Financial Management is very important to create socio-economic resilience on dairy farms. In this webinar, Ellen Vos gave an introduction on the EuroDairy project. Bart Verstrynge talked about the importance of financial management, and about the long-term perspective. Martijn Van Duren addressed financial management taking a short-term perspective in this Financial Management webinar.

One way to work more efficiently is by applying tools and techniques from Lean management. Lean is a management philosophy a farmer can apply in his business, as in any other. This approach constantly looks for improvements, by adding value or removing waste. By applying Lean-thinking one does not have to look for big improvements, even little ones can add significant value. Veerle demonstrated how lean management could be applied in everyday farming.
