EU PiG Webinar: the impact and legacy of the programme

Over 4 years, the EU Pig Innovation Group (EU PiG) helped pig producers across Europe find and share tried-and-tested best practice with fellow producers.

On 6th October, over 100 people, including producers, policy makers, farmers, farmer organisations, allied industry, journalists and EU PiG Ambassadors, registered to join our webinar: the impact and legacy of the EU PiG programme whereby we reviewed some of the highlights from the programme and looked at some of the most impactful case studies under the themes of health, welfare, precision and meat quality.

Project Coordinator, Ben Williams of AHDB was joined by project partners from Austria, Denmark, Italy and Belgium, who presented their case studies for each theme and outlined the cost benefits and technical outputs.
