The Resilient Farm Roadshow
This roadshow is a collaboration between AHDB and Agricology, a free knowledge platform that supports farmers in adopting agroecological and regenerative practices through practical resources, events and partnerships to promote sustainable farming.
Why is it important to have resilient farms?
Resilient farms can adapt to climate extremes, economic shocks, and rising pest and disease pressures. Resilient farms build soil health, so they are more productive over time and recover faster from stress.
What this event will deliver
- Expert speakers: Hear from industry expert Stephen Briggs as he shares practical tools for building farm resilience, covering both physical aspects (soil, crops, climate) and economic strategies
- Region-specific solutions: Each event features a regional expert who will share details of how they future proof their farming business
- Shape future AHDB research: Questions raised at these events will be fed into our research and knowledge exchange strategy
- Networking: Connect with other like-minded farmers and industry peers
This roadshow will bring together the best minds in resilient and sustainable farming, creating a space for learning, discussion, and collaboration.
Events will run from 9:30am–1:00pm. Lunch is included.
