A:  Whilst we recognise that a month is not a long time to respond to a call for work in this case it is a review and the expectation is that researchers operating in this area will have an up to date understanding of the broad areas of work that may be included in any such review.  Were this to be larger more complex piece of work we would endeavour to provide a longer period of time for the proposal to be delivered.  The AHDB website does provide information on priority areas for each of the sectors which give some indication of the topics likely to emerge as calls over time but we will consider if we can give some information prior to the call going out about which areas are likely to attract calls and at what point in the future.
