Health and Safety guidelines for AHDB Events

We can't wait to start welcoming visitors back to live events, but we must make sure they are as safe as possible. Please see the guidance below so you are fully prepared and can get the most out of the event.

Outdoor events

To assist with biosecurity and to conform to government guidelines, please ensure outer clothing, boots and vehicles are clean (and that boots can be disinfected).

Please note children under the age of 16 and dogs are not allowed at the event, even if they are staying in the car.

This event includes moving around the farm on rough terrain. If you have any special requirements, such as mobility issues, we will endeavour to make reasonable adjustments to enable you to attend. Please contact the event organiser before attending to ensure we have these in place for you wherever possible.

Due to the risk of zoonotic diseases, we advise pregnant women not to attend any event held on a sheep farm. If attending at your own risk, please notify the relevant AHDB personnel on arrival.

If you are booking on behalf of someone else, the relevant information should be forwarded to them.

  • Bring your own gloves and face mask at your own discretion (the event will be held outdoors)
