GB fertiliser prices

Last updated: 13 November 2025
The GB fertiliser price series aims to increase transparency in the market and help levy payers understand price trends for a key input.

The prices cover seven fertiliser products:

  • Ammonium nitrate (UK produced and imported)

  • Liquid nitrogen (UAN)

  • Granular urea

  • Potash

  • Phosphates

  • Polysulphate
  • Nitrate sulphur

They are an average of delivered to farm spot prices and therefore should be used as an indicator of pricing trends.

Latest update

These prices are scheduled to be updated week commencing 8 December 2025.

Additional information

For more information on this price series, including the specification, please read our Key Information Guide.

All these price series are designed to provide comprehensive historical records of the delivered to farm price for fertiliser. They are not designed to be used as a base for future contract prices. The decision of how to arrive at the price to pay for fertiliser is entirely a matter between the buyer and seller.
