Strategic Cereal Farm South open day: Research into action

Through a farm walk and presentations, you will learn about the on-farm trials at Strategic Cereal Farm South and be able to ask questions of the host farmer (David Miller) and research scientists.

This event will cover

• Cover crops and water quality with FWAG South East, South East Water and Henny Lowth (AHDB)
• Companion cropping and soil health with Elizabeth Stockdale (NIAB)  
• Regenerative farming and human nutrition with Hannah Fraser (Nuffield Farming scholar and farmer) and David Miller (host farmer)

Visit our new exhibitor area to learn about new technologies, research projects and more.

We will be joined on the day by:

• NIAB 
• South East Water 
• Crop Management Partners 

Catering will be provided.  

This meeting is free to attend, but please book a place so we can organise catering. 

BASIS and NRoSO points will be available for attending.  

Please bring suitable footwear and clothing for a field walk.
