Strategic Cereal Farm Scotland open day: Research into action
Through a farm walk and presentations, you will learn about the on-farm trials at Strategic Cereal Farm Scotland and be able to ask questions of the host farmer (David Aglen) and research scientists.
This meeting will cover
- Cover crops, spring barley establishment and biodiversity with Ken Loades (James Hutton Institute) and David Aglen (host farmer)
- Adjusting inputs in response to crop monitoring with Fiona Burnett (SRUC)
- Optimising nitrogen applications with Steve Hoad (SRUC)

This meeting is free to attend, but please book a place so we can organise catering.
