Join us at Chalk Pyt for the concluding meeting of Ben’s tenure as a monitor farmer.

We look forward to welcoming you to catch up on what has been happening at the Monitor Farm since the last winter meeting and to close the three-year programme here.

This meeting will cover

  • General summer farm update, crop walk and discussion re N-rates and ag-chem plans – Ben Jeans and Sam Pociecha (CMP – the host MF agronomist) will lead a farm tour
  • Yara N-Tester BT demo – Discussion of our crop N management to date using this device and an in-field demo (GS dependent)
  • Claas combine clinic – Utilising Ben’s own machine Claas technicians will give an overview of best practice regarding pre-harvest checks and settings
  • Tom Allen-Stevens will join the farm walk to discuss relevant BOFIN trials current and future.

Registration and refreshments will be available from 10:30am with the programme commencing at 11:00am and a light lunch served around 1:30pm.

BASIS and NRoSO points will be available for attendees.

The event is free to attend, but please book a place to allow us to cater accordingly.
