Limavady Monitor Farm Meeting - Nutrient Management and Maximising Organic Inputs

You are invited to join us for the first Limavady Monitor Farm Meeting of the season.

We look forward to welcoming you to catch up with Alistair Craig about harvest 2022, the 2022/23 season so far, as well as looking at nutrient management and making the most of organic inputs with Mark Tripney (isoils). We will also get an update on the organic input work going on at AFBI.

What will this meeting cover?

• Organic materials – understanding their value, minimising losses, nutrient plans
• Slurry options – reducing emissions, storing, spreading and acidification
• Soil health – benefits to nutrient management, impact of soil organic matter
• Integrating livestock – considerations, benefits and economics

Registration and refreshments will be available from 10:30 with presentations commencing at 10:50 and lunch will be provided.

BASIS and NRoSO points will be available for attending.
