Coronavirus: advice on seasonal labour

Farm businesses are facing additional challenges of finding staff and keeping them safe in light of the COVID-19 outbreak. Use these resources to support your workforce.

Keeping staff safe

In these exceptional circumstances, the industry needs to comply with the latest government advice on coronavirus (COVID-19).

Based on Public Health England (PHE) guidance, this best practice guide was produced in collaboration with the National Farmers Union, the Association of Labour Providers, the Food Network for Ethical Trade, AHDB, G’s Fresh and Defra. It aims to assist employers of agricultural seasonal workers in applying the PHE guidance in practical ways.

Please note; other restrictions and advice applies in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
