International grain prices

This survey helps identify how global markets are reacting to market drivers and shows the price of grains and oilseeds for export. Moves in these markets can impact upon global market sentiment and therefore upon the UK market.

Please note the last publication of this price series will be 23 August 2021. Please see our new UK import parities series for insight into the competitiveness of imported grains into UK homes.

The data is collected from a selection of industry sources. The prices are mainly quoted as "Free on Board" which means they show the cost of grain and loading, though a few of the prices indicated include insurance and freight. The prices are published each week on a Monday.
