Philip Dolbear

Philip joined AHDB Cereals and Oilseeds in 2013 from HSBC Agriculture, where he was Senior Agriculture Manager in the South West region. Having studied Agriculture at Reading University, Philip spent seven years as a Senior Business Management consultant with ADAS before developing a career with HSBC.

He brought substantial business management experience to the regional team, and a detailed understanding of the complexities of the industry in the region. He was one of the initial developers of the AHDB Arable Monitor Farm programme and played a leading National role in AHDB’s Accounts analysis, business modelling and benchmarking work. 

Philip retired in March 2023.
