Laura James

Laura has a multidisciplinary background, having worked across the crop protection industry, academia and non-governmental organisations (NGOs) as an agricultural scientist and entomologist. She is particularly interested in the promotion of ecosystem services and sustainable food systems through stewardship, biodiversity enhancement and integrated pest management (IPM) practices. Laura has a PhD in Pollinator Ecotoxicology from Rothamsted Research and the University of Nottingham. Based in the Cotswolds, she joined the AHDB team in 2023 and works across the UK.
