Judith Stafford

Judith is the go-to contact for anything AHDB Cereals- and Oilseeds-related in the East Midlands region. Focusing on facilitating business improvement, her role includes running the monitor farm network in the region as well as a number of benchmarking groups, together with regional conferences and other events.

Coming from a dairy farm in Derbyshire, Judith joined AHDB in 2008 and worked in the Dairy knowledge exchange team until transferring to Cereals and Oilseeds in 2015. She holds a degree in biological sciences from the University of Leeds and a PhD in oilseed rape physiology from the University of Nottingham.

Judith’s background also includes arable research and teaching secondary school science. She is passionate about her role with AHDB in helping agriculture move towards a sustainable and thriving future.
