Ian Harvey

Ian manages a family-run enterprise which has a herd of 180 Holstein Friesians and Ayrshires calving AYR on 162 hectares near Launceston, Cornwall. The farm grows all its own forage and cereals on heavy land in North Cornwall. He started his career as a civil servant working for the Inland Revenue, and is currently finance director of the Direct Producer Organisation – Davidstow Creamery Direct. He is an active member of various farming groups, with appointments including the NFU National Dairy Board and Red Tractor Dairy Board Representative.
