About this project
To assess the impact of soil compaction on grassland productivity and nitrogen use efficiency, and its potential alleviation through soil lifting and aeration.
Expected Outcomes
Quantitative information on the production and environmental implications of grassland soil compaction, including the cost:benefit of aeration and the use of nitrification inhibitors as remedial actions.
