About Kent Monitor Farm
- Tom and Debbie became Monitor Farm hosts in May 2024
- 332 ha across two farms with 158 ha in arable rotation and a substantial contracting business
- Chalk downland in a high-tier countryside stewardship agreement and pasture for life cattle
Tom and Debbie have joined the Monitor Farm programme to support the organisations they’re already involved with, in Kent, by delivering content, via Monitor Farm meetings, that will aid and support good farming practices in an ever more challenging climate.
The main aim is for their business to become more climate resilient over the next three years.
“We must have a business that delivers sustained profit and increased biodiversity whilst operating in a climate with more extremes – giving closer consideration to waterlogging and drought.”
