Development of a farm systems economic model

Aims & Objectives
The objective is to develop a dairy farm systems model applicable to GB production systems, drawing from an existing model developed for grass-based production systems by Teagasc at Moorepark.

Expected Outcomes
A dairy farm systems model to evaluate the interrelationships between production, environmental and economic parameters, across a range of GB milk production systems.. This model will be of strategic value to the dairy industry, in evaluating the outcomes and trade-offs which arise from adjusting systems of production (rather than a decision support tool for on-farm use).
