Abstract
171 commercial grain store sites and 283 individual stores were visited during 1988/89. Information was collected on type of grain store, grain storage practice, insecticide use, rodendicide use, awareness of pest presence, methods of monitoring for pests, major pest species present and detection methods used. Results are presented and discussed in Part I of the report; Part II comprises tabular data only.
The report provides a useful record against which current and future grain storage practices can be assessed.
