Samantha Charlton

Sam joined AHDB Beef & Lamb Knowledge Exchange Team in 2017 from her previous role within the National Farmers Union. Having always worked in the North East region, Sam started her career as a graduate in commercial banking before moving to Lloyds Bank as an Agricultural Manager. Her interest and areas of work around the financial performance of agri-businesses continues within AHDB.

Sam’s home ground is County Durham where she lived on a family livestock farm. She has since ventured further North across the Tyne River and still enjoys farming in wonderful Northumberland.
