Patrick Morris-Eyton

Patrick manages the family dairy business in South Cumbria, milking 420 predominantly pedigree Holsteins on a high-input high-output system. Growing more homegrown concentrates to increase sustainability is a particular focus, alongside genetics.  Alongside the dairy enterprise he also manages the farm’s 700-ewe hill flock. He is a district representative for Arla, with a keen interest to get the younger generation’s perspective on the industry and how we can help shape it to maintain the talent already within, but also attract new talent to dairy farming.
