Ollie Johnson

Ollie is national lead on Farming Systems and Agronomy. Having worked for nine years as an agronomist, advising growers across 15,000 acres of mostly arable and mixed farming systems, Ollie brings a wealth of experience of the practical aspects of AHDB’s work and how to best support conventional, organic and regenerative growers alike. Ollie is BASIS and FACTS qualified, as well as having been awarded the Basis Diploma in Agronomy. He is currently a Voluntary Initiative Champion Agronomist. When not walking fields, you might see him flying over them in a light aircraft from Wellesbourne, close to his home in South Warwickshire, supporting his former Young Farmers Club and leading a Scout Troop.
