Joe Towers

Following his degree at Harper Adams, Joe spent eight years working in the family dairy farming and milk processing business. While the processing itself was out-sourced during this period, the highlights of this time were the development of a bespoke ‘barista milk’ for high-end specialty coffee shops in London as well as pioneering a ‘climate smart’ angle to the brand with the use of a methan- reducing supplement which enabled sales growth as well as generating carbon credits. Joe is now working as supply chain manager at Start-up The Modern Milkman which has over 120,000 doorstep customers nationally and has recently expanded overseas.
