Jamie McCoy

Jamie is based in West Wales. She joined AHDB after a 10-year career in Knowledge Exchange, working for Hybu Cig Cymru and Farming Connect, alongside other projects.

Jamie’s agricultural experience includes a background in sheep farming and time spent milking cows in NZ. She now farms alongside her partner, milking 180 autumn calving cows as part of their growing mixed farming business.

Jamie graduated with a degree in Agriculture from Aberystwyth University and has continued her study with post-graduate qualifications and completed a Nuffield Farming Scholarship looking at opportunities for the family farm. Her particular areas of interest are business and people development, and she says the most rewarding part of the KEM job is when farmers give positive feedback on her work or go out of their way to say thank you!
