Elena Lokteva

Elena is a qualified accountant with extensive Board experience across the public, charitable and private sectors. She has built a career in private equity strengthening governance and supporting the effective use of funds in complex organisations.

Alongside her AHDB role, Elena serves as a Non-Executive Director in the NHS and in an international energy business, where she chairs Audit and Finance & Performance committees and oversees major capital, digital and risk programmes.

Elena also brings experience of producer-facing businesses. She had executive roles in agricultural machinery distribution (John Deere), and in the dairy sector (Dodoni), giving her a practical understanding of the commercial pressures facing farmers, producers and supply chain partners.

She brings to AHDB a combination of financial discipline, independence of judgement and a strong commitment to value for money and effective assurance.
