Colin Ferguson

Colin Ferguson farms near Wigtown in South West Scotland, milking 420 Friesian cows in partnership with his brother and parents, supplying Arla Foods. The business focuses on breeding robust, easy-care cows that maximise homegrown forage efficiency while producing profitable replacements and in-demand store cattle.

Alongside farming, Colin serves as Vice Chair of the NFU Scotland Milk Committee and of the Wigtown Agricultural Society. He is also an enthusiastic mountain biker and a keen Lego collector.
