Aaron Cantrill

Aaron Cantrill is the AHDB Cereals & Oilseeds Knowledge Exchange Manager for the Wales and West Midlands region.

With a degree in Agricultural Business Management from Writtle University and a wide range of experience in agriculture, he is keen to help farmers make the most from their levy investment.

Based in Shropshire, Aaron started at AHDB in December 2024. He previously worked for a seed and grain merchant, as an area manager covering Wiltshire and Hampshire. The role developed his passion for supporting productive and profitable arable businesses, no matter how big or small.

Having worked on farms in both the UK and Australia, he has a boots-on-the-ground approach and believes the best way to tackle challenges is head-on through face-to-face conversations with farming peers and other agricultural experts.

One of Aaron’s main duties is to facilitate and support AHDB’s Farm Excellence activity in the region, including Monitor Farms and Arable Business Groups.
