Michael Welham

Michael Welham the farming Manager for Fairfields Farming Company. Cropping 400ha of potatoes in Essex  for both Packing and Crisping.  He has been in the industry more than 22 years and a dedicated grower since 2008, supplying crops throughout the whole season with early and main crop varieties on medium to heavy silty clay loam soils.  Most of the potatoes produced in the business are processed into own label products at the on site Crisp Factory and Packhouse.

He also sits on the AHDB Potatoes Research and Knowledge Transfer Committee.

Michael was appointed to the board in April 2017.
