Laurie Ibbotson

Laurie is from a farming family in the Peak District, North Derbyshire. Living on a traditional upland suckler cow and sheep farm, she has a very practical knowledge of cattle husbandry and is passionate about sustainable livestock production.

As the Commercial Director for Dovecote Park, beef processors for Waitrose, she understands the complexities of producing great quality beef from a commercial perspective. In her varied role she oversees livestock schemes and procurement (beef, veal and venison), as well as the sales and new product development teams.

Outside of work and helping out on the farm Laurie’s hobbies revolve around horses – both breeding and competing – as well as participating in sports and fitness activities.
