Dr Sophie Churchill OBE

Dr Sophie Churchill was appointed Chair of the potatoes sector board at AHDB in April 2017. She has spent much of the year visiting growers, processors, and exporters, as well as attending agricultural and industry events.

Sophie is Immediate Past President of the Royal Forestry Society and was Chief Executive of The National Forest 2006 - 2014. She was awarded an OBE in 2011 for services to the environment and is an Honorary Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Foresters. She is a director of Trent and Dove Housing and has direct experience of how to make the most out of what can be demanding periods of change.
