Alison Levett

Alison has had a long career in the food and drink industry, starting with a marketing background and moving on to running a range of businesses under both public and private ownership. These included Campbell’s Grocery Products, with its portfolio of well known brands such as Campbell’s Soups, Homepride Sauces and Fray Bentos pies, where she was MD for the UK and Ireland.  In addition to all the commercial functions Alison had responsibility for their extensive manufacturing facility in King’s Lynn, Norfolk which sourced large amounts of produce from the surrounding area.

Alison has successfully launched new products and run numerous consumer and trade marketing campaigns. Throughout her career Alison has dealt directly with all the major supermarkets as well as working through distributors so understands the challenges of the supply chain. From her time in the drinks sector she has significant experience of selling into the hospitality industry and the different complexities of these customer channels. Alison has also been an active board member of relevant trade organisations.

Alison has lived for many years in East Anglia but in 2017 she and her husband relocated to Somerset to take on a house needing major renovation, and this came with 50 acres giving her first time experience of looking after land.
