At a glance

  • Attempts at lifting continued for those with crop still in the ground. It remains exceedingly difficult. Crops recently lifted will need to be cleared rapidly due to quality issues.

  • A widening price split is emerging depending on quality. Movement of lower quality supplies is reported to be steady, where end users will accept them. Prices for best quality have continued to creep up to encourage growers to part with good quality material.
